Additionally, "out of network" reimbursement may be approved for some visits depending upon a patient's insurance policy. Many patients and employers find a lower cost, higher deductible insurance plan works well with direct care and saves more than the price of a direct primary care membership. Direct Primary Care is NOT insurance and patients are strongly encouraged to have insurance or health sharing plan coverage for emergencies and large medical expenses. Multiple problem visits, shorter waits, flexible office hours and more care outside of office visits means less time lost from work or family. When medically appropriate, some care can be managed over the phone or via secure messaging, without an office visit - saving time and money. Flexible, open schedules reduce unnecessary ER visits. Without the restrictions of insurance plans, physicians have more time for each patient and can address additional problems at one visit. Removing the middlemen (insurance) from primary care makes it affordable for most patients, less than the cost of typical cell phone or cable plans. While this is a big change for many patients, it has many advantages. The physician and the practice do not bill insurances for care. The patient or employer pays a fixed monthly fee directly to the physician.

Please call us to update your payment card to keep on file. You can also see a list of your current medications, upcoming appointments, and most recent treatment recommendations. All billing statements will be sent to your account and you can send us non-urgent messages through the portal messaging service.
We ask that all patients set up an account through the Passport Patient Portal for our medical record system, Elation. You can only set up a working spruce account if you are already a patient at The Via Center. Click here to set up your app and account.
